FALL 2023 PROGRAMS:
South Jersey Futbol Club (“SJFC”) – Fall 2023 Recreation League
Programs are available for players born from 2008 to 2020.
Registration Fees:
2020 – 2020 (u4): $25 per player
2019 – 2018 (u6): $50 per player
2017 – 2016 (u8): $60 per player
2015 – 2014 (u10): $75 per player
2013 – 2012 (u12): $75 per player
2011 - 2008: (u16): $85 per player
All Fall Rec soccer programs will begin with our Fall Kick-Off Event which will take place on Saturday September 9, 2023.
Recreation Program Dates:
Start Date: 9/9/2023 (Fall Kick-off Event)
First Practice: Week of 9/11/2023
First Weekend Game: 9/23/2023 (f weekend game)
Last Weekend Game: 11/4/2023 (last weekend game)
Make up dates: Make up games will take place the week of 11/6/2023 (time TBD).
Goal:
The mission of the program is to create a welcoming environment for our local township players to experience soccer for the first time or continue their soccer journey in an organized fashion in which rules of the game, basic skills and the enjoyment of the sport are shared. SJFC utilizes a modified U.S. Soccer Grassroots Play-Practice-Play developed philosophy for our recreation program. (Five Things to Know About Play-Practice-Play (ussoccer.com)
FALL PROGRAMS: Programs include weekly training session(s) and SJFC recreational jersey. Recreation training sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (based on age group) with formal games on Saturday. Please note it is not required of players to attend both training sessions, SJFC wants to provide flexibility for our players and parents to attend the sessions that fit into their schedule.
For players born in 2020 (u4). Monday session: @ 5:30-6:15pm
Session will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 20-30 minutes of training and 10-15 minutes of small-sided (3v3 or 4v4) scrimmages.
For players born in 2018 and 2019 (u6). Monday session: @ 6:30-7:15pm
Session will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 20-30 minutes of training and 10-15 minutes of small-sided (3v3 or 4v4) scrimmages.
For players born in 2016 and 2017 (u8). Tuesday & Thursday sessions: @ 5:45-6:45pm
Sessions will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 30-40 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of small-sided (3v3 or 4v4) scrimmages. Weekend games will consist of co-ed teams and supported with volunteer parent coaches. Trainers will be on-site to support the flow of the game.
For players born in 2014 and 2015 (u10). Tuesday & Thursday sessions: @ 5:45-6:45pm
Sessions will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 30-40 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of small-sided (4v4 to 7v7) scrimmages.
Weekend games will consist of co-ed teams and supported with volunteer parent coaches. Trainers will be on-site to support the flow of the game.
For players born in 2012 and 2013 (u12). Tuesday & Thursday sessions: @ 7:00-8:00pm
Sessions will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 30-40 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of small-sided (4v4 to 7v7) scrimmages.
Weekend games will consist of co-ed teams and supported with volunteer parent coaches. Trainers will be on-site to support the flow of the game.
For players born in 2011-2008 (u16). Tuesday & Thursday sessions: @ 7:00-8:00pm
Sessions will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 30-40 minutes of training and 20-30 minutes of small-sided (4v4 to 7v7) scrimmages.
Weekend games will consist of co-ed teams and supported with volunteer parent coaches. Trainers will be on-site to support the flow of the game.

All programs will take place at the Upper Deerfield Recreation Complex soccer fields (50 Hoover Rd. Upper Deerfield NJ 08302).
