SJ Futbol Club -Spring 2026 Recreation Soccer League
All Spring Rec soccer programs will begin on Thursday March 26, 2026
Recreation Program Dates:
First Practice: Thursday 3/26/2026
First Weekend Game: 4/11/2026 (first weekend game)
Last Weekend Game: 5/16/2026 (last weekend game)
Make up dates: Make up games will take place during the first following weeknight scheduled practice.
Goal:
The mission of the program is to create a welcoming environment for our local township players to experience soccer for the first time or continue their soccer journey in an organized fashion in which rules of the game, basic skills and the enjoyment of the sport are shared.
SPRING PROGRAMS: Programs include weekly training session(s) and SJFC recreational jersey. Recreation training sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (based on age group) with formal games on Saturday mornings for ages u6-u14. Please note it is not required of players to attend both training sessions, SJFC wants to provide flexibility for our players and parents to attend the sessions that fit into their schedule.
All training sessions will be trainer-led with volunteer coach support and include 20-30 minutes of technical training and 10-15 minutes of small-sided scrimmages. Weekend games will consist of co-ed teams and supported with volunteer parent coaches and held on Saturday Mornings. Trainers will be on-site to support the flow of the game).

For players born in 2022 (u4) (training only):
Monday sessions: @ 5:30-6:15pm
Training Dates: 3/30 (M), 4/13(M), 4/20(M), 4/27(M), 5/4(M), 5/11(M)
For players born in 2020 and 2021 (u6):
Monday & Thursday Sessions: @ 6:30-7:30pm
Training Dates: 3/26 (TH), 3/30 (M), 4/9(TH), 4/13(M), 4/16(TH), 4/20(M), 4/27(M), 4/30(TH), 5/4(M), 5/11(M), 5/14(TH)
Game Dates: 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16
For players born in 2018and 2019 (u8):
Monday & Thursday Sessions: @ 6:30-7:30pm
Training Dates: 3/26 (TH), 3/30 (M), 4/9(TH), 4/13(M), 4/16(TH), 4/20(M), 4/27(M), 4/30(TH), 5/4(M), 5/11(M), 5/14(TH)

Registration Fees:
2022 – 2022 (u4): $40 per player
2020 – 2021 (u6): $60 per player
2018 – 2019 (u8): $70 per player
2015 – 2017 (u11): $80 per player
2012 – 2014 (u14): $85 per player
